I have called the dealer, tried many other options and have narrowed it down to nothing. But one guy somewhere in Kentucky said that it may be a bad knock sensor. So if this is my next option, where is it.

I have a engine that starts to cut out at 3200-3500 rpm. and will not tach any higher. Starts to back fire and lose all of its power.

any one have a solution before I delve in to finding the knock sensor. (you know a quick fix?)
