Hey everyone!



Hope you’re all well. I’ve had a major problem come up with my 91, sr5 v6 4Runner.



I broke down the other day, as my battery light came on while I was driving at night. The lights and all features dimmed as well as the radio turning off. I pulled over when it started shuttering and then my car wouldn’t turned back on.



From all these symptoms I assumed it was the alternator, as the battery wasn’t charging. However I have just gotten the alternator replaced at the mechanic and it seems to have made things worse?!



My car is now not even turning over. Before I could at least jumpstart it and it would run. I’m not too sure if the mechanics have screwed something up (maybe some wiring?). They seem to have no clue what is going on. I really need to try get this all sorted ASAP as I’m living in my car and I am now broken down in the middle of nowhere in Australia.
