Hi-Lift Jack Best Option?
Good afternoon-
Still driving a stock '07 V6 SR5 (unfortunately no $$ for mods yet)...This past weekend I tackled Mosquito Pass, CO (13.2K ft) which was a blast. There were mainly lifted Jeep Wranglers on the trail, and although I had to take it slower, the 4Runner came out alright.
Anyway, I really need to invest in a decent jack. Will a regular Hi-Lift work for my current stock vehicle?? Keep in mind that bumpers are still fiberglass & there are running boards as well. Will this style of jack be able to reach far enough to get to the frame? I'm thinking not...
And does anyone make some kind of rear steel bumper to store this jack, or am I stuck having to get a roof attachment for accessories (shovel, axe, etc...)? Can't seem to find any kindof ARB-type rear bumper anywhere...
Thanks
Bill
