I got a OEM hood protector for my 03' 4runner sport and the rubber-coated nut that is used on the outer-most harware (that holds the hardware directly to the hood iteself) has deteriorated and needs to be replaced.

The dealership has no replacements UNLESS i buy an entire kit (minus the hood protector itself) for over $60.

Has anyone been about to procure a replacement that works and wont drain my wallet?
