Just purchased a set of in channel Auto Vent shades for my 2008 4Runner. I originally installed them in the window jam with the weather stripping on each side of the ventshade. Well the window gets hung up on the ventshade. After calling Auto Ventshade the said that I should pull the weather stipping away from the body of the window and slip the ventshade in. I have tried that and at the top of the window the way the weather stipping sits in the weather jam there is not enough room for the ventshade and weather stripping. Am I doing something wrong? Anybody help with suggestions?
