I am looking into buying a 2000 4-runner Sportwith 126K miles on it. It has been well maintained with all major servicing done, and oil changes done every 3K. I am just wondering if anyone knows of any major problems that are known to occur with these vehicles with this type of mileage? Anything I need to look out for? Any ideas on how long the tranny will last?

The manufacturers must hate it, but many of us will be quite content to buy used cars in the future with the longevity they can achieve with proper maintenance, since the initial costs are so high you have a experience about it or not yet!
