So the battery in my 2006 4runner sports edition V8 blew up and threw battery acid all over the eng compartment on me the other day. Every light on the dash turner on and there was smoke/smell that came out from behind the stereo. Windshield wipers went crazy and wouldn't stop even if the switch was in the off position. After replacing the battery it started, but only the 4H, 4L, check eng, down hill control, and one other light I forgot which one it was came back on. After I got it home I realized that the fob, locks, and windows don't work. Then I disconnected the battery took apart the dash couldn't find anything wrong. So I took it to the dealership and they told me the 140 fuse was blown and the fuse panel under the dash needs to be replaced. After I gave the dealership the ok to replace everything they said the fuse panel (part # 82141-35B41) was discontinued by Toyota. It seems that the Service writer isn't wanting to help me out since they have had my 4runner for almost 2 weeks with no updates on finding a replacement. Can anyone help me out?
