Hey guys, my 1995 is running rough. It started about 2 years ago when I thought I could hear a slight miss in the engine. This little miss finally progressed to a very noticeable miss. I thought the catalitic converter was stopped up so put on a new one, it didn't help. I changed plugs, wires and cap it didn't help. I carried it to 2 shade trees, the first said it was fireing on all cylinders and said he "thought" it was burnt valve. The 2nd guy said the compression was down on the passenger side rear cylinder and that my trouble might be a valve or a head, but he didn't know for sure and he would just have to take it apart and see what it was.Then a buddy of mine said he bet it had jumped time.
Anyway it is time to get it fixed. My 4runner has went from my #1 ride to a hunting rig, and its to much fun to drive to let it waste!!!
Any Ideas?
