Engine Light
Hello and it's great to find this place!
I'm having a few problems with my 95 4 runner V6.
It drives like a tank! Very sluggish and no power.
The engine light has been comming on for a while and I have
had my mechanic check it and so far to date we have
1)Replaced plugs
2)Cap and router
3)O2 sensor
4)Fuel filter
After each time we reset the codes and the truck runs FANTASTIC..
for a day or so... then sure enough the light comes back and it's back to running like
Sh**
The code 25 keep comming on and am wondering if I'm missing something that
isn't being addressed.
I'd appreciate any suggestions or solutions very much!
Thanks in advance

RE: Engine Light
Just an update,
Took it to our local Toyota dealership for the steering recall (campaign #514 if anyones interested on the 95's)
and they had their "best guy" trying to figure my problem out.
He changed the thermostat because he thought it wasn't getting up to temp.
Didn't work so he tried a "few" other things to no avail. He said he was stumped! GO figure eh?
He also said it was "strange" how the upper rad hose got hot while the bottom didn't. And yes, he did do a flush.
So any ideas floating out there would be appreciated.
Thanks...
