Front tire wear??
I just recently bought a 2000runner and the dealer stuck new tires on it. They are Bridgestones in the 265/70? 16's The driver's side tire is wearing on the inside of the tire. The 4rner doesn't have a pull or feel out of alignment. This unit had 100k on it when I bought it. I had new rotor's installed a while back, and after that I started to notice a severe wheel balance problem at 70mph. it goes away at faster speeds and lower speeds. I just thought the mechanic that put the rotor's on didn't pay any attention to where the wheels were mounted before he removed that side. What could be causing this wear????
thoroughly inspect or have inspected, the ball joints (upper and lower) check for proper spindle nut/wheel bearing adjustment, check/inspect for a weak or leaking shock etc. and have a 4 wheel alignment performed if applicable i do not know for sure in your particular models case......hope this helps, lastly check the tire itself for bulges in the sidewall indicating belt separation and or damage.
