Hello! I have a 95 automatic 4Runner with 180K miles on it. This last week it's not always going into reverse. It started up in the mountains after a cold hail storm of of a night. It worked after I drove forwards for three miles! Since then it's been inconsistent. This morning I ran the engine for 5 mins and it wouldn't click into gear at first but after park, drive, park drive, it clicked into reverse when I tried.
Is this the beginning of the end? What should I do? Fluid levels are good if high.
Any advice please? Thanks.
