Alright, this one is driving me nuts! I own a 2000 Toyota 4Runner SR5 4x4. I have a mysterious beep sound coming from somewhere in my car about once every 60 seconds. It's a little softer than the beeping sound the alarm makes when you lock/unlock the doors. It's almost more in tune witht he beep sound it makes when you try to lock the doors witht he keyless pad with one of the doors open. It also makes the beep sound when the car is turned off as well as when it's running. Does anybody have any clue what this could be?

Well, this is certainly awkward... found out the beeping sound was actually coming from my garage door opener not the 4Runner... it only took me the majority of the evening to figure that one out :0)

I am having the same problem...it is not the garage door opener. HELP!!! 2002 4runner.
