I just bought my first 4 Runner and this is my first post. Seems to be a great forum. Its a 2000 Limited 4wd. I've got a couple of questions since the previous owner lost the original owners manual.

1. Where can I get a new owners manaul?
2. Can someone explain how to engage 4wd and the rear diff lock correctly? Also, how to disengage it? What does all the blinking mean?
3. How much does a new key cost from the dealer b/c they couldnt cut one at Lowes.

1 look on ebay or stealership or junk yard or the internet
2 don't know bout 3rd generation but blinkin is probably not good... in the process of disengaged or it's blink because it's already disengaged.
3 don't know bout 3rd generation but 4th generation has a computer chip inside the key.
