Default no fuel or fire

Someone please help me. I have a 1992 V6 auto 4runner that initially started out as a rear brake light problem, they were on all the time regardless of fuse being in or out. Anyway, a friend of mine who is a self proclaimed electrical wiz, was helping with finding the problem. We tracked the problem down to the ground control circuit relay in the left rear quarter panel. Here is where it gets tricky. I think the self proclaimed electrical wiz may have sent a electrical spike of power somewhere it's not supposed to be because now it won't start. I checked the fuel pump, no power to the pump. I bench tested pump and the pump does work. Also checked fuel relay and there is no power at the relay. There is also no fire at the coil. I immediately thought a power spike must have went back to the ecu, so i changed the computer from another truck, still no fuel or fire. Anyone know what can kill fuel and fire at the same time, any info would be appreciated.

Default RE: no fuel or fire

Wow, that sucks! It sounds like a burnt out fuse or relay. check the relays and circuit breakers under the dash behind the clove box, they are right above the ecu. Also check the ones in the fuse box under the hood.
