EFI - Electronic Fuel Injection. Yeah, itsa big deal to change it over to carb. Not worth it.

The only reason to do so would be ease of tuning if you refuse to learn about computers and such. I knowa few EFI equipped Harleyowners have changed over to carbs, but really its a lot easier to tune a EFI engine. All you need is a laptop and the right software. Plus with a carb, you get to worry about things like hard cold weather starting, power loss at altitude, long warm ups, etc. Nor will you everpass an emissions test, either.

Keep your EFI.

One really easy thing to do. Run a few tankfuls of Chevrongas through it. That Techronadditive really helps clean fuel systems.

Can't give you a good recommendation as I don't know the exact location of the filter on a V-6. Changing the filter itself is easy, its thenuisance work like depressurizing the system and unbolting/movingstuff to allow access thatsthe PITA.

Get yourself a good repair manual, read it, and see if itssomething you wantto tackle. If not, any decent shop should be able to do the job. Don't go to the $tealer$ship, they'll charge 20-30 bucks more per hourfor the same job.
