Default poor quality/terrible response

I just bought a very low mileage 2005 4Runner (7K miles, V8, Sport edition in "perfect" shape).....and I am DISGUSTED with Toyota. They remind me of GM 15 years ago...growing too fast with the resultant poor quality and lack of custmer satisfaction.

I'm going to dump the 4Runner asap. It has a vibration (like holding an electric razor) in the steering wheel at 1500RPM that gets worse at highway speeds. Made three trips to the dealer and have been told that "yes" there is a problem but there is a similar issue with 06 and 07 4Runners (much less pronounced) and Toyota has so far elected not to do anything about it......needless to say I am turned off on Toyota and am headed back to Honda.

Anyone else with a 4runner seeing (feeling) this problem? The tech said that since it was their best V8 it should be butter smoothe....thinks it is a design issue with the motor mounts????? I don't care....just want it fixed and they don't know how....I am awaiting a meeting with toyota rep but don't expect him/her to do anything

Default RE: poor quality/terrible response

just sounds like the last owner hit a curb, thought about getting the tires balanced or at least check? Maybe the alignment as well.

Maybe they should put a steering stabilizor stock if they didnt. That would help alot. I havent heard any complaints from friends though
