Does anyone here have a Sirius sat. radio (or XM)? If so, did you mount the antena on the outside of the car (as instructed)? I only ask because I've heard that you can also set the antena on the inside of the car. I was wondering if anyone has done that in a 4 Runner and if so where you mounted it.

I have Sirius in my 2004 4Runner. I mounted the antenna on the roof, near the rear hatch door. I have had it on this car for 18 months and not had any reception problems.

 

Same here. Sirius antenna on my '05 Sport mounted on the roof at the rear by the hatch. I got that little tiny unit that's about 7X3 and I just velcroed it near the gear shift on my center counsol. Where did you put yours?

 

Just bought a new '06 but had a '02 before. I had the antenna in the corner where the window meets the dashboard and front pillar. I got perfect reception.
