not exactly a 4runner question but I think it's similar and close.

I have a '88 4x4 truck and wanting to change my steering damper.

I can not seem to remove the side with the cotter pin on.

Any tips would help, thanks

 

try a pickle fork...?

 

cut the cotter pin?
