Default Zero Power

I have an '87 4Runner, high mileage trouble free since I purchased in '92. However when I went to start it this morning the starter briefly engaged and then lights out, everything died. No lights, radio, horn, nothing. Battery has full charge and terminal connections are good, all fuses are good as well. Has anyone had a similar problem or know what could be wrong? I've had electrical components fail before but never had a situation where everything went dead. Thanks for any insight you can give me! Tony

I've had a similar problem, battery charge was excellent, all connections good, but the cells were bad so it was only a matter of time before the battery was no longer good. I had the battery replaced and all was back to normal. Maybe get the battery checked at AutoZone?

take the batter to a autozone or advanced or orielys they check the battery and recharge it for FREE just to make sure that it isn't your battery. If it isn't your battery then check the goounding wire and make sure that isn't done.
