Has anybody noticed how much heat comes from the sunroof ? We have a 2014 4Runner and I noticed when I was driving in the summer heat the sun beating down on the 4Runner, there's a lot of heat above my head, which I can help some with pointing the a/c vents up, then no air below. And this is with the shade closed. I was going to add some peel and stick thin insulation onto the top of the shade, but I wanted to ask and see if anybody else had the same problem, and possibly a fix ...also , does anybody know if the shade will come out without any damage ? Tinting the sunroof glass would surely be helpful and effective in eliminating UV rays.

 

It's already tinted .
