I have a 1992 Toyota Hilux Surf with a 2.4 liter diesel engine and auto transmission. This was sold originally by Osaka Toyota then exported in 1995 to Zimbabwe where I bought it three weeks ago. Is this car the same as a 4Runner?

Sorry I have not photographed my car yet. In England the Surf is also called the 4Runner.
Since buying my vehicle I have fitted four new shocks, new heater plugs, overhauled the brakes and had a full srvice. It goes like bird now!
In August I am going to Lake Mterikwi in the south/west of Zimbabwe and hope to try out my car in the game parks there. They are very overgrown now and the roads very broken up so I hope the ride hight will allow us to see more animals. At Easter we went there in my wife's diesel Peugeot but because the grass was so very tall we found it difficult to see much. All we saw was a snake, four rhinos and a few sable antelopes.
