Default 97 4runner

i have a 1997 2.7 liter 4 cylinder it has 30 inch tires on it
what size tires and wheels could i fit on it stock with little or no rub
a lift will come later
advice on a small to moderate, no more than 3 inches, would be much appreciated
oh, its a base model 4x4 5 speed manual

Lift before tires is always better so you dont have to buy another set of tires.

Is your 4-runner level or does the *** end lower then the front?

I had 31s on mine before the lift, they fit pretty good. 32s will rub big time I would think, depends on the rim you use too.

Rims, you could use a 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, and 23, the 24 might get a little tight haha

Need more info with your questions, what size tires and wheels were you looking at and then the guys on here can help tell you if they will fit, also the info is needed so we can help with offsets and/or backspacing.

this is what i have wild country radial xrtII 30x9.50R15LT
my friend is getting new tires and is gonna give me his 31x10.50R15 wrangler MT
will they fit or do i need new wheels or just new tires and wheels

Yeah they should fit no problem. I had 33s 12.50r15s on my truck for like a week and they fit, but they rubbedALOT little too big, but like I said 31s would fit for height no problem and on the stock wheel no problems..

go for it...
