Hi All,

So I just picked up my first Toyota ever a few weeks back. I have a 93 4Runner SR5 3.0, 4x4, with 209k and I'm looking for opinions for mods and upgrades to add to the project. My plan is to do an ongoing upgrade/build with this rig. Its main purpose is to be an island beater on Nantucket, and is going to run the cobblestone roads and beaches in the summers, and maybe some light trail running/camping in FL for the winters. I'm not planning on throwing a crazy lift or huge tires on it, no need to stress the 3.0 anymore than necessary, but what would you guys recommend for upgrades or mods to make it more capable? I have a relatively open budget, but trying to keep it budget friendly to save money for the inevitable crate motor.

So far I've done new front end steering components, new master cylinder and brake booster, full alpine marine grade stereo upgrade, with new tires going on next week.

What advice do you guys have for a newbie/recommend for upgrades for the build??
