Default looking for answers

i'm looking for a '93-'95 4runner... but everything i find that isn't totally trashed, has extremely LOW Oil Pressure... like barely registering at warm idle [and that's been bumped up by the sellers to 11 to 1200 rpm]
is this a common problem?
why are these v6's so gutless? is there a cure or is it terminal?
thanks!

low oil pressure on a 93-95 runner can be lack of oil change, pressure switch, or its just a turd.

Really the best is the 4cyc if you want my opinion, its bulletproof. I heard with the less weight they are actually a little quicker then the V6 as well. the v6 is just a turd during those years...
