Hi,I have a hilux surf,jap import,m reg (95),cracking aesthetics,3 litre ssrx special addition.dont get to excited though,I also have no compression in 2 of the piston chambers,and it's been in storage for a few yrs.
I need advice on what to do.
I love it,but it's just costing me a storage fee at the minute.
Do I.... Fix it
Or
Do I....sell it

If so what's it worth?
Oh should I mention I'm uk based
I can't think of any other info you might need

 

What motor does it have in the surf? Its been a while since I played with one in Japan

 

Hi,it's a 3ltr diesel.id you need more specifics il dog the log book out and tell you what you need to know tomorrow.

Oh and it's an automatic.

 

ouch on the diesel, its nice but going to cost $$$$ to get it fixed. If your in for the long haul bud I would say go for it. The 3.0 we have in the states is trash, but diesel would make for a nice rig. Just not sure what your going for or if you have access to get it O/H or not.
