4.3L problem starting...once in a while

4.3L problem starting...once in a while
I have a 4.3 chevy in my 4runner and once in ten starts in just turns over but it doesn't get gas. Usually in the mornings and once it does start it will start all day. The fuel pump is good. I've talked to my local mechanical wizard and he is stumped. Any one have any ideas?
