Default Front hub question

Ok I gota question.

1992 4-runner, 4x4 of course. My front stock locking hubs dont lock anymore. Any ideas on this? Anyone have a schematic on them? I really dont want to mess with it right now. truck is for sale and im just hoping for an easy fix.

Speaking of test driving, guy drove 1/4 tank of my gas when he brought it back, no big deal if he is buying. I had a check in had, and then he asks about the hubs and says he needs to think about it. Im thinking about giving him a freakin bill for the gas..

Man, what a bummer. Don't have the answer to your question, but since the hubs are common with the pickup, how about trying one of those forums. I found Pirate 4x4 of great help when making the decision to convert to maual tranny. Lots of good info on there.

Also found this on yotatech. Maybe a PM?

Sorry, can't help you out there either. I have manual hubs, ADD is PFM (pure "funny" magic) to me.
