Default 2Gen 4runner: Changing the hubs on ADD to Manual or earlier Auto Locking Hubs

On 2gen 4Runner, I heard that you can get a bit more HP and better mileage if you change the hub to Manual or Auto hubs and run a little lower ring and pinion gears. Also if the 4runner is lifted it's almost mandatory to change to manual or auto hubs so the the CV does not get all torn up do to the more radical angles when the truck is lifted and the hubs are always engaged.

Question: Will the 86-89 Auto hubs fit as a replacement 2Gen 4Runner? I want the Autos because I want a closed center cap, but I will go with AISIN if I have to.

Just lifted my 93 4Run, 1.5 inhes and added the Bilsteins.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
