i own a 89 1st gen EFI V6. lately she's been running a little rough and wanting to
stall when i come to abrupt stops. i think it maybe the idle is low. but i keep hearing
that the crappy gas they make nowadays has a HUGE effect. has anyone had this
same problem?

 

Never had similiar situation but well, some cars I knew have knock sensors that adjust the timing for diff. grades of fuel and some don't. Just try to adjust the knock sensor for the lower grade. If vehicle is equipped with catalytic converter, the leaded fuel will contaminate the catalytic converter and render it useless.
