Default Ipod accessory

Anyone know how to add an adatper to the current stereo system so you can connect your Ipod and run it THROUGH your stereo as opposed to those horrible FM modulators that sound like crap..I have a SR5 2005 4-Runner and I wanted to be able to play my ipod throught the stereo. Does Toyota have a sound system or accessory that you can buy where you can simply plug your MP3 into the system ? Or do I have to purchase a sound system separately from a Best Buy or Circuit City and install it myself ?? Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated...

Hi David, the best way to do it is using Monster MPC FX IM-Toyota, made by iCruze (Interface Module for Toyota 1998-2004).
It's the best way to get the best sound and you can use oem buttons from the stock radio to shuffles songs and it will display sond titles
on your radio also. It might set you back $200 for all the hardware but its worth it. There are two parts to it the module and the power cords that connects to your stock radio. Check this site to see it..http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAu............Peace....................
