just wondering if anyone has bought a k&n high performance filter generation one or 2 for their 4runner, I have a 90 in great shape and just wondering what kind of milage/hp/tq gains I would get...thx

 

well I don't believe you would really notice a whole lot of difference. The only time I really noticed a difference is when I put the K&N system on my diesel pick up. That allowed the turbo to spool faster. I think you would have to add a larger exhaust to really notice any gains.

 

I'm actually about to replace the stock filter with the K&N. On my last 2 vehicles (01 Civic, 01 Cherokee) I saw between 1 to 3 MPG increase so I figure why not try it?
