Ground Problem
You are right..3.5 sorry. This is my brothers vehicle.
Most of the problem has gone away as a result of finding a bad cable connection in the fuse box.
The panel lights still dim and the vehicle seems to be running low RPM's like it wants to stall. Replaced the alternator and problem still exists. Still wondering if the new solder connection is good or if another connection issue exists?
Thanks for your help!

You may still have a bad connection or since you say the engine is running low rpm's that may be it. If it's running to slow in the rpm range and almost dying it might not be turning the alt fast enough to keep everything lit up. Maybe you just need a tune up. How long since the plugs and wires were changed? Throttle body and IAC may need to be cleaned. MAF or TPS issues? Check engine light on?

Thanks for the reply. I too wonder about connection issue.
Tune was completed a few months back.
your comment about.....?Throttle body and IAC may need to be cleaned. MAF or TPS issues? Check engine light on?
No check engine light is on. I have no clue what to do about throttle body and IAC cleaning?? Is this something I can do myself?
Many thanks

Here's some links for you...
Cleaning the MAF

Cleaning the IAC

For the rest of the throttle body while you have if off to do the IAC, just take a toothbrush or similar and clean all around the butterfly valve opening with some kind of cleaner.

Thanks for the links you supplied. Will forward info to my brother. He notes that since he has fixed the connection problem and restored power, computer has rebooted with new inputs and is running better. Thanks again for your help
