Default Pulling a trailer

I've got a 99 w/100k, v6, 2x4.
I ride/race motorcycles and looking at buying a 6x12 enclosed trailer.

Would this be to much for the 4Runner?
Recommendations for highway use? Is it ok to let it drop to overdrive w/o hurting the tranny or anything else?

Thanks!

Default RE: Pulling a trailer

I dont no much about 2X4s But my 91 4X4 with 174500 Miles pules a 6X8 single axle 2 atvs fine !
Going up steep grades I dont use overdrive cause it wants to shift up & down to much for my preferance!!
I have a 3.0 V6 yours is the bigger engine Right ???
Also I run 32x11.50x15 tires they take more power than the stock size! But it sure looks meaner!
