Default window woes

alright...well...i removed the top off of my 87 4runner and when i went to put the top back on...i connected the little wire connector in the back left corner. now...my rear window will not roll back up from inside the tailgate. it's power so im not sure what the hell happend while the top was off. it didn't rain or get hit or anything. also...it worked perfectly before removing the top. also...the window wiper does not work anymore. probably because the window isn't up? anyway...not sure how to fix this. thanks all in advance.

cheers

yes. i've done a search and tried all the past problems as well. i pulled the wiper arm up and tried it. i changed fuses, i even took off the back cover of the tailgate and made sure that any little connections didn't fall apart in a jolt or something. i have got no idea why this damn thing wont roll back up. now im starting to think that maybe the motor went out in the two days that i had the top off. i might just have to take it in and have it checked out before the rain starts back up down here. any other suggestions?
