Default Greetings from Peoria, AZ

Hello, all. I've had a 4Runner (1990 SR5, 3.0L, 5-speed, manual windows and locks, no roof rack) for a little under a year, and have decided to check out some forums. I got green-lighted into this one right away, but T4R.org seems to be dragging their collective feet. Oh Well.

I decided that a 4Runner was the best way to go for a reliable truck for my daughter, who is learning to drive on BADWOLF (the name of the truck). This truck will be my daughter's when she gets her license. She wanted a hardtop Jeep CJ type (Wrangler, TJ, YJ, what have you) but my brother owns an '83 CJ-7 and insists that Jeep stands for "Just Empty Every Pocket." Since we don't have that kind of cash, a Toyota made more sense.

Anyway, it's been a good truck - it needed tires when we got it (the treads on the truck were way too aggressive for mainly street use) so we went with Goodrich Long Trail TAs. Recently replaced the battery and a small ground strip for the body. When we got it, we changed out all of the fluids except for the coolant, and we're doing that pretty soon.

I have a tech question which I'll post in that area.

It's good to be here.

Are you not able to log on T4R either? I was thinking it was just me. I'm out in Goodyear and just sold my Evo 9, looking for a 3rd gen 4runner.
