new to forum, but not to 4runners, question.
Hi,
I am on my 2nd gen 2 4runner, last one was a 94 2wd, current is a 94 4wd with the 3.0 and a 5speed.
When I bought it the truck had been rolled and was in pretty rough shape, but a with lot of donor body parts from the 1st one, (which had blown its engine at 298000 miles), I got it back on the road. Now it's looking like I'm about to be replacing the throwout bearing, as well as the clutch while I'm in there, and from what I can tell from the Chilton manual, it's a really major job involving dropping the front diff and such. Anybody out there done this job, and if so, got any advice?
Thanks,
feralcat
