I have a 2004 4Runner and when I put it in 4High or 4Low the VSC off shows up (4 wheels with X in center) on the dash in yellow with the 4 wheel drive (4 wheels) in green. When I push the VSC OFF button, nothing happens. I have tried everything in the owners manual from putting the car in Neutral, foot on brake, switching from 4high to 4low to 2high, pushing the VSC OFF switch in many different modes but nothing happens. Drove the car forwards and in reverse etc. When I put the car in 2high both lights go off. I also noticed that when I push the VSC OFF switch I get a faint click that sounds like it is coming from the area of the glove box. Is it just a bad VSC OFF switch? Will it hurt driving the car in any way?
