Hi, does anyone have any ideas- my 4runner runs perfect sometimes then sometimes when i start it up, and leave it to idle the rpm start to drop to below 500rpm and it sounds like it is about to cut out and when driving it has power loss and hick-ups. i have done resistance tests on the VAFM and it seems to be ok. Sounds like a sensor issue or vaccum line problem.

 

hey thanks so much for your help, an air sensor issue? or a vacumline letting in air- it must be something that resets when the engine is turned off/on, cause sometimes it runs great until you restart and then it runs bad. and sometimes you can restart again and it runs grand again!
