So its im about to go into month 3 with out my truck and im relying on you guys to help me here because im stuck.

My 91 4Runner v6 stopped running back in august. The motor will turn over but wont start. i have tried just about every possible way to fix the problem but still nothing has got better. So far i have replaced the fuel pump, fuel filter, and i checked the MAF and it seems to be working. The only way i can get the truck to start is to by pass the relay and spray starter fluid into the MAF, now this gets it to run for a second or two untill it burns through the started fluid and then it just shuts back off. Some how its not getting fuel, its possibly electrical but i have no idea where to even begin. CAN ANYONE PLEASE HELP ME!?!?

 

ok you've changed the pump are you getting fuel pressure now maybe you have a bad fuel press regulator !!!

 

TPS, valve adjustment, and check your fuses.
