Howdy, Y'all:
We purchased a 2005 SR5 V6 earlier this year to replace the 1987 Landcruiser we have had since 1994. Not only is the 4Runner a different Toyota model, but the 18 years of intervening technological development make me feel that it is smarter than I am.
We do a lot of traveling and camping, so I am most concerned with the 4Runner's towing capacity and it's off road ability. Have any of you successfully towed a travel trailer with your 'Runner? I also would like to get a little more ground clearance under the truck but fear that a lift plus larger tires will decrease it's towing capacity.
Any advice or feedback is most welcome.
