Default Howdy!

We bought a 2005 SR5 V6 several months ago because our 1987 Landcruiser used too much fuel, was too old to be a primary daily-driver and had a pretty restrictive towing capacity. I do miss it though.

The 4Runner, well it is quite a machine. I must say that it is a pleasure to drive although it never ceases to puzzle me with all of its "bells, whistles and beeps". If its engine, tranny and all of its electronic systems and electric motors last as long as the Landcruiser's systems did, I will be very happy. I will admit way up front that I prefer manual transmissions, crank windows, all metal radiators and spark plugs that don't cost $10.00 each. However, I am a realist and am aware that those days are long gone.

We are using our 4Runner for a daily driver and to tow our little travel trailer as we camp, fish and explore our way around the American West.
