.......buying a 94 Runner from a friend that just bought it himself........he said it doesnt seem to have much power. Its a v6 5 speeder. He said it looks like the plug wires are shot. Would this cause that much power loss ? I dont know the milage but he says its alot ???

youd never beleave how much a cap, rotor, wires and plugs will make. also have an exhaust shop check the back pressure. its free and it will tell you if the cat is clogging. i put a freeflow cat and complete tune up and it has much better pick up. but remember, it is a 4x4 suv and isnt going to be fast in the first place.
