Magnaflow hands down. Flowmaster is loud and gaudy. Although i obviously have a biased opinion. I have a full cat back exhaust with the magnaflow muffler and i can feel the difference.

 

i have a magnaflow exhaust on what has become my parts runner. its an '89 22re 4banger. definately made the truck sound balsier but didn't really add any horsepower. the truck is standard too so it made it a little more fun. no complaints about the kit but its nothing amazing either.

 

i tried a wicked flow on my 97 2.7 4cylinder. it had a good sound just not very loud. i wanted it loud so i had it straight piped. 2 1/2 inch pipes cat back and a 4 in diameter stainless tip. its loud and deep i am very impressed. i also have a k&n cold air intake system

 

I have a full custom exhaust, with a flowmaster muffler. Its got a good sound, a little loud even for me on the 3.0, little too raspy. I will probably change it out after installing headers..

 

Sounds like most people are leaning toward the Magnaflow exhaust system. I have the 3.4 Liter, and would like a deeper sounding exhaust system.

Can somebody offer the part numbers that they used, I can't find them on their website specific to the Runner.

Also...how difficult of an installation is it? I know the TRD Cat-back is basically a bolt on wiht the same hangers, etc. How much work is involved in putting the Mag on?
