Default Suspension

Hello All,

I've got a 1999 4Runner Limited with about 75k on it. I've had the vehicle for about 5 years and my wife does the majority of the driving on it. I like the vehicle, but it rides like a lumber wagon. My ride is a 98 Camry, and I know cars will generally ride softer. What bothers me are the types of bumps such as railroad tracks and cracks in the road and how the 4Runner handles those. It sounds extremely rough going over those types of road imperfections. Is it common to have to replace suspension parts with 75k miles? I suppose I'd need to let my dealership take if for a ride so they can advise me hopefully with some sort of honesty. Thanks for any feedback, and if I'm not clear on any of this, let me know.
