I have a 1996 4runner 2wd. About a 1 1/2 years ago I rebuilt the engine due to a blown head. Everything is new from the piston rods up. Also new raditor, starter, fuel pump, timing chain, and alternator.
The issue is I started the car and it started shaking a lot so I cut it off. I restarted and everything was fine. Drove it home and when pulling in the driveway it started shaking again. I cut it off and I could smell gas. I let it sit over night and the next day it would not start. I replaced the ignition coil just in case. When I did this, it tried to crank but a bunch of white smoke came out of the exhaust. It is getting spark, compression in each cylinder is good, the oil looks good and the radito fluid looks good. Each spark plug looks and smells like it has gas on them. I just sounds like it is getting too much fuel. Any help will do.
