Default Looking for a 4Runner.

Hey guys looking for some input. I'm looking to purchase a 2003+ 4runner. I need something that is dependable and has 4wd. I do a lot of hiking/Camping/climbing/snowboarding/Ect. I currently have a '06 VW Gti, that is basically a show car only. I sold my '08 Dodge Ram 2500 a few months ago, because the up keep and gas (about 8-10mpg) was incredible. It was also 2wd and was useless in snow. I was going to go with a Jeep Wrangler (but its not practical to daily drive) and the Jeep Grand Cherokee is very problematic. So the 4runner fits what im looking for. Is there anything I should look for when I'm buying? I know every brand has there little quirks and issues. Any input would be appreciated.

Default buying a 4runner

I have a 2004 4runner and just love it. Your biggest question should be 6 or 8 cylinders. I have the 8, really enjoy it. It has been trouble free since owning it, like my 98 ( my 98 has 230 with only the starter and rear axel seal going out ).

At 90K you need a timing belt and it is hard to put in or costs about 500 to get put in...

other than that enjoy !

Thanks for the Reply. Ive been looking at 4runners a lot lately. Just trying to find the right one to pull the trigger on. Seams like since toyota is having all the trouble with the newer models and recalls that its affected the price of the older models too. So I should be able to pull a pretty good deal. As far as V6 or V8... Id only own the V8. I need something with some power. I dont think Id be satisfied with the V6.

Ive tried every one on that site and a couple on hofo and so far the only one that even finds the cricket network is the 07743 i mentioned above. The non roaming prls have no signal. The roaming prls all seem to only find the verizon network. ______________________________________________ advance cash | online payday loans
